The Giro de Fleece ended last Sunday, but I finally finished spinning my 200 grams of singles last Wednesday evening!

I spun the entire project on Malcolm Fielding spindles. I love the way they spin! It was a bit of a challenge to keep the thickness of the yarn consistent. Some of the puyoks (the ebony ones) are quite a bit heavier than the other spindles, and the thread would easily become thicker if I didn’t pay attention. The singles are quite thin. I think the resulting n-ply will be lace weight or light fingering weight. I’m going to ply on my wheel today.
That’s what I worry about with spinning one project on different tools, but yours always look so lovely on a dozen spindles!
