A little while ago I’ve spun some delicious Polwarth and recently I’ve been knitting it. First, I started knitting the Geology Shawl, but the yarn didn’t go well with the pattern in my opinion. Then I started the aptly named Second Chance shawl, which was a much better fit!
The shawl starts out with a stockinette body, and after a while it morphs into lace and cables. The gradient in my yarn slightly obfuscates the cables, but I don’t mind that much. You can look at the shawl from a colour and from a pattern perspective, and the overall look is nice. It’s blocking now and it’s quite huge!
