The Jenkins Just Batty Challenge 2 has been running for a couple of months already, and will be finished by January 25. Unfortunately, I’ve been quite busy, so I only started spinning seriously again during the Christmas holidays, after some sparse spinning moments in the previous months.
It’s nice to be spinning again. I’ve spinning on my Finch (oh, how I love that spindle!), which has just the right size and weight for me. It actually has room for quite a lot of yarn: after finishing my first turtle, I weighed it, and it was 28.9 grams including the 10 grams spindle! That means that it carried almost 20 grams, twice its own weight!

Today I finished the first turtle, and I immediately started the second one. I’m using the other Finch (I was lucky recently with a stealth update on the Jenkins website), and after that I will move on to the Kuchulu, I think. I like using all my spindles, not just one over and over again.
