I still had one skein of Wollmeise DK in my stash, colourway Bussi. It is a fierce cool red, actually way too powerful for me, but I love the colour, so who cares. I decided to knit the Velvet Scarf pattern, because I love the cable details. It also seemed like it would be great tv knitting (and yes, it was). It took some time to knit it, but it turned out really nice. Unfortunately, the colour is really hard to photograph, so you just have to take my word for it that it’s stunning.
