While my own pattern was being test knitted, I also offered my knitting skills to another designer looking for testers. She designed the Proizd Hat, which is very pretty, and it consists of cabled brioche and some double knitting. Not easy, but fun!
I have some experience with knitting brioche, because I took a brioche masterclass from Nancy Marchant (the queen of brioche). I even used it in one of my own designs (Assepoester). However, I had never combined it with cabling, and it took me some time to get into the rhythm. It was a fun knit in the end, and the designer, Jasna, from Jasmin Knits, is very helpful and open to suggestions.
I finished knitting it last week and it’s very nice and warm. It’s very tight, so I kind of look like an ice skater in it 😛
