Today I finished the drawing of little Isabel! It was fun to draw her, and I think it went quite well. However, I’m not completely pleased with the paper. It has tooth, but quite a rough grain, and I think a finer grain would make the drawing of details easier. Now you can see the structure of the paper a bit too well to my taste, it breaks up the drawing a little bit. I do like the sand colour of it, though, it warms up the drawing a bit. Oh well, that’s how we learn.
