Tonight, a third addition to the Spalted Beech – Walnut family arrived from Enid Ashcroft: a lightweight Tibetan spindle called Yang Po! She’s a pretty spinner, able of doing long, medium fast pirouettes.
I’m very happy, and so are her sisters Sophie (Midi) and Libellule (Mini), each of who is also quite lightweight for their size. Of course I had to make a family portrait:
