As if I’m not busy enough, I got very excited about sewing again! When I bought my wedding dress, I discovered that the 1950s swing dress looks really good on me. And then some knitting friends enabled me, by linking to pattern sales of Butterick and Vogue vintage patterns. I went a little crazy and bought about ten patterns.
I will look for some cheap, nice cotton fabric, maybe curtain fabric or so, from a second hand shop, to try to make a good dress for my own shape. Once I have that pattern, I could use it to sew up more dresses, from nice materials. Sounds like a plan, ey?
I do have a sewing machine, and I already made a skirt, pants and some project bags, but I do see myself as a total beginner in sewing techniques. It’s so nice to learn new things!
