Yes, I’m becoming famous. Or something.
A knitting friend of mine, Bianca, was my partner in a swap a while ago. I sent her, among other things, a skein of my own handspun yarn. It was probably my best spinning up till then.
Bianca started knitting with it, and made an “Inspiration Shawl”. Very cool. And then she submitted it to the Yarnwise Magazine, which accepted the design. So, this month, a shawl knitted in my handspun yarn is published in issue 54 of an international magazine!
It’s quite funny, since I’m not much of a spinner, I really prefer knitting, and designing. I feel honoured that my humble spinning efforts led to this success…
