Last weekend, David and I went to Germany to spend Easter with the family. We wanted to drive there on Thursday night. In the last weeks, my cat Fiona had become more and more affectionate, wanting to be petted all the time, and snuggling up to me.
Not that Thursday, though. It was as if she felt that we were leaving. She ignored me, allowed me to pet her, but never snored, and didn’t bounce her head on me like she usually does. And this is not the first time either. Almost always when we are leaving, she hides somewhere clever, so that we have to search her before we can leave. She must have a sixth sense!
O, dat geloof ik direct. Dieren weten heel goed hoe je stemming is dus voelen ook gelijk dat je van plan bent om weg te gaan!
