This flexible pattern is both written out and charted, and instructions on how to make a flat version, an in-the-round version, a buttoned, and a scarf version are included. The designer also provides the math to further adapt this pattern to your own taste.
The resulting cowl or scarf can be warm and cozy, but it can also be light and airy. You decide on the length, width and height. Feel free to yarn of a different weight, it will provide you with a denser or opener fabric depending on what yarn you choose.
The pattern requires you to do some simple lace (k2tog, k2togtbl, k3tog, yo) and is perfect for beginning lace knitters who want to create something fast.
